Simulate the digestion of DNA sequences

The Virtual Digest feature allows users to simulate the digestion of DNA sequences with any restriction enzyme and view the results as a virtual agarose gel. This tool provides a visual representation of the fragment sizes that would be produced if a sequence were digested with selected restriction enzymes, mimicking the outcome of a real gel electrophoresis experiment.

Users can select specific restriction enzymes to cut their DNA sequence and immediately see the virtual gel results, which display the sizes and patterns of the DNA fragments. This feature is particularly useful for planning cloning experiments, verifying sequence integrity, or troubleshooting restriction enzyme digests before performing them in the lab.
